Detailed knowledge of the county is not a requirement, but a willingness to get to know the patch quickly is important. A good broadcast voice is an advantage, as is having a full driving licence (or a plan to get one quickly). You’ll be a radio enthusiast with a passion for the medium. You must have strong organisational, influencing & persuading, and communication skills, as well as a keen ear for great radio.
