SNARED - a conservation radio drama to be broadcast worldwide on 10th November 2018

On the 10th November 2018, radio stations broadcasting in countries all around the world will be joining together to deliver one powerful message. Please be a part of this extraordinary event.

SNARED, a conservation drama inspired and conceived by Dr Cheryl Mvula MBE (Wildlife and Cultural Consultant to SNARED), her husband Manny Mvula (who is also one of the principal actors in the play) and Tim Marriott, has been written and adapted for radio by Floyd Toulet.

This powerful play gives a voice to both sides of the argument surrounding modern day African wildlife conservation and we want its broadcast to stimulate debate (especially among African people who have first-hand experience of the issues) and also, to entertain and inspire.

As well as being officially endorsed by the international wildlife conservation charity, the Born Free Foundation, the event has the personal support of and will be introduced directly before the play’s broadcast by, Virginia McKenna OBE, British stage and screen actress, author and internationally respected wildlife campaigner.

We want this to be a truly global event that will help raise awareness of the mass destruction currently facing the people and wildlife of Africa. We need your help to do it.

Every single voice matters in a message as important as this, but when they come together and speak as one, they can make history. That’s what we need you to help us do on 10th November 2018. Please add your station’s voice to this global event, give us your support and tell the world what it so urgently needs to hear.

Everything you need will be provided, including a broadcast-ready copy of the play, a selection of trailers and a variety of promotional material that you can share our your social media platforms. All we ask in return is that you agree to broadcast on 10th November 2018.

This could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to really make a difference. Please be a part of it.

Please either email or call us directly to find out more, or visit our website where you can also listen to our current trailers.

Thank you.
