Online survey into how Community Radio is operating under COVID-19

I’m conducting research into how community radio stations are coping during social distancing. I am so grateful to those who have already completed the online survey, (approved by the Research Ethics Committee for the College of Business, Arts and Social Sciences at Brunel University London.)

The findings will yield useful insights concerning resilience and sustainability for the sector and inform academic publications, talks and other collaborations to highlight the position of community radio in the UK.

If you or your station have not yet received an invitation or completed the form, please email me, josephine.coleman@brunel.ac.uk and I will send you the link and password.

I would like just one questionnaire per station. It should take between 15 and 30 minutes. The most appropriate person would be someone who is knowledgeable about the station and its current programming operations.

Thank you to all my respondents who took the time to fill in my online questionnaire for the survey I conducted last month. And thanks too to those who I managed to interview afterwards.
I have written an initial report to share some of the findings with you, and have posted it on the Brunel website so that it is freely available to you and the public (and other stakeholders!)

Do let me know if you have any comments, as I will be writing up more of the findings in the future,and will probably conduct a follow-up survey at some point in the future.
