Local St Albans Clergy team up with Radio Verulam for LiveLent

Radio Verulam, in association with the Church of England, is featuring ‘LiveLent - Caring for God’s Creation’ inspired by the Archbishop of Canterbury’s 2020 Lent Book, “Saying Yes to Life” by Ruth Valerio.

LiveLent contains weekly themes shaped around the first Genesis account of creation and explores the urgent need for humans to value and protect the abundance God has created.

Each week during Lent, a member of the clergy from the St Albans Diocese will present a soundbite reflection on one of the 6 weekly themes. The series will feature across Radio Verulam’s weekly on-air FM and online output and will also be available as podcasts at www.radioverulam.com/lent.

The Clergy taking part in LiveLent are the Reverend Richard Watson, Vicar of St Saviour’s Sandpit Lane; Reverend Becky Leach, Vicar of St Stephen’s and St Julian’s; Reverend Dr Tim Bull, Director of ministry for St Albans Diocese; Reverened Caroline Keightley, Vicar of St Mark’s Colney Heath; Reverend Peter Crumpler, Self-supporting Minister in St Albans and the Reverend Kim Quak Winslow, Canon for Young People at St Albans Cathedral.

LiveLent will air weekly on Radio Verulam from Sunday 1st March. The podcasts will be available at www.radioverulam.com/lent.
