Some interesting changes to our favourite funder - new guidance notes and application forms now available.
The form has fewer questions and some new priorities:
- bring people together and build strong relationships in and across communities
- improve the places and spaces that matter to communities
- enable more people to fulfil their potential by working to address issues at the earliest possible stage
There are also new things now eligible for funding - staff costs and running costs were previously excluded but are now OK.
Also, you need to send bank details in with the application not after assessment.
Amount of grant remains the same (£300 - £10,000), and as before you can apply at any time. The previous limit on repeat or funding (smaller groups only) has now gone - anyone can ask for repeat funding of activities.
It’s fine to still complete the old forms for the time being, but there will be a cut-off date announced.
