Creative Crieff is delighted to announce that they are recruiting two part-time positions at a community radio initiative, Radio Earn. These roles are part-funded by Youth Music and only open to young people aged 18-25. They are each 3 days per week, 12-month fixed-term employed contracts paid at £10 p/h.
About the roles:
Radio Earn Engagement Coordinator
This role will focus on supporting the community of Strathearn and Strathallan in engaging in the radio station as volunteer presenters, journalists, content creators or listeners, will help facilitate a range of community engagement projects, support artists and lead on Radio Earn’s online visibility.
Radio Earn Technical Coordinator
This role will assist in overseeing the smooth technical running of the station, which will be broadcast online (initially) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They will support the community in developing technical skills and facilitate community engagement projects around technical skills alongside specialists.
Both roles will be part of the ‘Creative Youth’ strand, which supports the young people of Strathearn and Strathallan in engaging and working within the creative industries. These two roles will become part of the wider Youth Music network, and receive mentoring from professionals, expand their professional networks and work towards an Arts Award qualification.

Please note that though these roles are based in Crieff predominantly, the young people do not have to be living in Strathearn or Strathallan, but would ideally have a strong personal connection to the area.
