Community Media Association Annual General Meeting & Networking Event

The Community Media Association Annual General Meeting & Networking Event will be held on Saturday 9th November at Business in the Community, 137 Shepherdess Walk, Islington, London N1 7RQ (Streetview).

The AGM is open to current CMA members - the Networking & Training session in the afternoon is open to all registered guests.

The agenda for the day will be as follows:

  • 10am - Arrival and networking

  • 11am - 35th Annual General Meeting of the Community Media Association

  • 12:30pm - Lunch

  • 1:30pm - Legal & Compliance Issues for Radio with Paul Chantler

  • 5:00pm - Finish

The agenda for the 35th Annual General Meeting will be as follows:

  • Apologies for absence

  • Approval of the Minutes of the 34th Annual General Meeting

  • Chairman’s Report

  • Financial Report & Accounts

  • Election of Council

  • Update on Charity Status

  • End

If you would like to stand as a Council member, you must provide a short written statement telling other CMA members a bit about yourself and what you would bring to the CMA Council by 23:59 Saturday 26th October 2019. You will need to ask for two CMA members to support your nomination.

Items to be considered for discussion should be tabled in advance by 23:59 Saturday 26th October to agm@commedia.org.uk or 0114 279 5219. Due to constraints of time, there is a possibility that not all tabled items might be discussed on the day but every effort will be made to consider them.
