BBC Elevate is a recruitment drive that will give deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people with industry experience the chance to work and gain further experience on flagship BBC shows in the past these have included Strictly Come Dancing, The One Show, Holby City, Would I Lie to You? and Great British Menu.

Throughout the programme, we will identify a number of roles with our participating industry partners to match successful applicants into. The roles available will be at various levels of experience, from mid-levels to more experienced senior production roles. We will aim to match the right candidate to the right opportunity. The duration of roles will vary according to each production and could range from six to twelve months within 2 years of being accepted onto the Elevate programme. The aim is to unlock any barriers to progression and ensure off-screen disabled talent are reaching their full potential.

Once contracted to a production you will receive additional bespoke training, an assignment of a BBC mentor and a buddy who will be matched from the production company.

This scheme is for off-screen production talent only – This is not an on-screen talent search.
