Audio Content Fund - partners required

An independent content production company is looking for potential platform partners to support a bid to the Audio Content Fund which backs innovative public service radio content creation.

The proposal is to create an (up to) eight-part series about a notorious historic murder case in Cornwall. The story plays out across a large swathe of England, from London to Somerset, Essex, Bristol, Devon, and Kent and would therefore be of interest to community radio stations in those areas and beyond. The peg is that the process has begun in an appeal which could see convictions in the case.

The production team would be led by two experienced former BBC journalists who both worked on the story for many years. They would be looking for a commitment from any interested stations to broadcast the content in the next 15 months. There is no financial commitment needed although they would be very happy to discuss any opportunities they could provide for paid work, mentoring or work experience as part of the project among your staff, volunteers, and supporters.
