Another 5 years awarded to Asian Star Radio

Asian Star Radio is proud to announce that Ofcom, the UK radio communications regulator, has renewed Asian Star Radio’s broadcasting licence for a fourth term. The radio station will be 15 years old on 12th March 2022 and will enjoy another 5 years on air from March 2022 onward.

Winners of 3 national awards at the Asian Media Awards in the Best Local Radio Service category and two consecutive years in the Regional Station of The Year category.

The station over the years has forged great relationships with local businesses, charities, and volunteer groups. On-air staff work around the clock to entertain, inform and educate listeners from all walks of life. Asian Star Radio is now also available on its very own mobile phone app which is available for free to download, on DAB+ across London, Manchester, and Birmingham, now also on Alexa-enabled devices, online and available locally to Slough on FM.

Made up of its professional team of presenters, dedicated staff, and volunteers all committed to delivering a professional output has given Asian Star record high listener figures.
